[ultimate_heading main_heading=”About This Restoration”][/ultimate_heading]

This was a crazy project. The 31,000 sq/ft castle had been severely damaged by neglect and vandalism and the architect in charge of historical Monument declared that it was too far-gone and could not be restored. Twenty-two years of hard work proved him wrong. I not only restored this stately home but also opened it to the public. In 1989 the London Sunday Times on its French Bicentennial issue called it one of the ten best museums in France.

Through the before-and-after photos that follow, you will catch a glimpse of the enormity of the task.
